RESEARCH PROJECTS

  • 'TRAVEL', EPSRC grant looking at low-terahertz automotive radar for future autonomous systems. (University of Birmingham, May 2017 to date.)

  • The Quest for Ultimate Electromagnetics using Spatial Transformations (QUEST)', EPSRC Programme Grant; multi-disciplinary collaboration between QMUL, Exeter and Oxford (December 2011 to February 2017).

  • 'Reduction of Energy Demand Projects in Buildings through Optimal Use of Wireless Behaviour Information (Wi-Be) Systems'. Multi-disciplinary collaboration between QMUL, De Montfort and Nottingham Universities (RCUK-funded under the ‘Transforming Energy Demand through Digital Innovation’ call; October 2010 to September 2013). 

  • EPSRC-funded post-doctoral work on wearable and implantable wireless body sensor networks for health and sports applications. (QMUL, March 2008 to February 2009.)

  • NHS-funded post-doctoral work on wearable and implantable wireless body sensor networks for health applications. (QMUL, March 2008 to February 2009.)

  • Ph.D. research in millimetric antennas and radar waveform design, examining dual-frequency millimetre-wave antennas and spectrally-notched radar waveforms. (University of Birmingham. Supervisor: Prof. P. S. Hall. Sept. 2004 to July 2008.)
